Small companies, individuals are leading the new era of humanity. Read WIRED’s latest magazine and it seems today, everywhere I look more and more inventors are getting their chance.

Amazing design, its amazing what people are coming up with now that prototyping machines are so cheap.

Just found out about this new startup using an innovative way of funding their project using pledges and this specialized website to manage the pledges. The company I backed was Lumi Co and their video did such a great job at doing a their pitch, I thought what’s 30 bucks, I get to help someone get closer to achieving their dreams. For mini startups, micro investments and incentive pledges makes the backers loyal, and excited about helping out.
Head throbbing, beats racing…
Lights flash overhead, wind pouring over
Streaks flashing creating threads of light
Black tar sticking to the soul of my machine
Faster, click, sit back, feel the moment take over
No one near, everyone past
The wake of my being washing over the city
The journey known, trance-like with no thoughts
You start and end in one instant, the moment is over.
